SedlikGroup, P.C. was founded in 2016 by Gary S. Sedlik, Esq., a veteran lawyer at large global law firms and senior legal advisor to multi-national corporations. Mr. Sedlik was a litigation partner in the global law firm White & Case LLP before transitioning to in-house positions with The Wonderful Company and, most recently, serving as Associate General Counsel for Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc.

After leaving Toshiba, Mr. Sedlik founded SedlikGroup, P.C. to provide elite legal services to medium and small businesses, including representation of clients in state and federal litigation, expert IP consulting relating to copyright, trademark and trade secrets, as well as legal advice with respect to a wide variety of complex business and legal issues.

Our team

Founder and Managing Partner Gary S. Sedlik is a licensed California attorney with more than 29 years of major law firm and global corporate experience. He has conducted, managed and supervised all facets of litigation in state and federal courts, including multi-billion dollar international disputes. His law firm experience includes taking and defending hundreds of depositions, including percipient witness and expert depositions, second-chairing a 10-day trial for a major international horse racing conglomerate, and conducting arbitrations, mediations and settlement conferences.

Mr. Sedlik also has experience handling appeals (preparing briefing and conducting oral argument), including appeals in the California Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Sedlik also briefed and argued a criminal appeal in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, resulting in a published opinion.
